I’m Jess, the owner & principal photographer for J. Mynatt Boudoir. If you’ve gotten this far in your portrait journey, that means you see something here that you like, but more importantly, you see something in yourself that you like. In a world where loving yourself exactly as you are is an act of rebellion, I am creating a space where women of all shades can do just that, wholeheartedly and unapologetically.

My journey into creating intimate women’s art actually began when I was searching to hire someone for myself. My hunt for an artist who catered to and created boudoir art for women who looked like me kept coming up empty handed, so I decided to take matters into my own hands.

So now, I am here for you.

I am here to ensure you that you are beautiful exactly as you are - Not 10 years ago or 10 lbs ago, but in this exact moment. I am here to highlight your curves, your dimples, and your badges of honor. I am here to celebrate your sensuality in this body that gives you (and perhaps others) life.

I am driven in this journey with you by the shift I see in others like you when I’m mid-session.

That’s when the magic happens.

There’s a cosmic shift in body language - a reckoning with the power that comes from loving yourself unabashedly in a safe space, and I get to demarcate that moment into existence forever. Being a part of creating that confidence is where my passion lies, and is the end all be all for me in this journey with you.
